In 2015, I commit myself to a healthier lifestyle. As a former healthcare worker, I’ve seen how our lifestyle choices can make or break us.
I realize that if I continue living the way I do – eating a lot of highly processed food and not having a regular physical activity, I may end up with conditions that both my paternal and maternal lines have.
From a food junkie and sugar addict, I slowly transitioned to becoming a veggie-lover.
The journey wasn’t easy, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it is that perfection is the enemy of the good.
There are certainly days when I succumbed into my old habits, but I tried not to get dissuaded or demotivated in those situations. Instead of feeling defeated, I learned to see those as opportunities for growth and learning.
This blog is created to share my passion for easy, healthy cooking. As a busy house manager, I wanted to be efficient with my time in cooking without compromising my family’s nutritional needs.
And as a homeschooler, this blog is also a venue for sharing my thoughts in the hope of helping other parents who are completely new to homeschooling.
